Interesting Facts

  • Flight/Sgt. Frederick Mison graduated from Borden flight school in March 1943. He died Christmas Eve 1943 over Wales during in-flight radio training prior to joining his operational squadron. Prior to his death he had been recommended for commission by his CO. My grandmother never had the chance to visit his grave in Wales so this memorial is for her and Freddy. Also his father Charles (Veteran WWI) brother Roy (Veteran Korea) and sisters Elsie, May and Betty. Your nephew Ken.
