Overseas in Oct 1941. Killed on duty at Chappel St. Leonard's, Linconshire, England. Surv. Mother, Mrs. Annie E. Eagles; brothers, Cyril Cdn Army, Albert RCAF, James RCN, S. Eagles, Port Elgin, H. Eagles, Southampton; sister, Mrs. H. Underwood, London, Ont. His deceased father, in the first World War, was a sergeant in the 160th Bruce Bn.
