Served in Canada from April 7, 1943 to April 30, 1944, the United Kingdom from May 1, 1944 to June 6, 1944, then Northwest Europe from July 8, 1944 until his death. Recipient of the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, War Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp.
