• Born at Mount Hope, PEI. Macinist and lathe operator. Served apprenticeship with Hall and Stavert in Charlottetown. Hobbies, sports, skating, bowling and badminton. Enl. Moncton July 1940. Trained at Toronto, St. Thomas and Macleod. On 2 Aug 1941 married Marion Iris Hume of Charlottetown. Overseas Feb 1942 to serve with RAF.
