Interesting Facts

  • Born Finland 12 Aug 1910. Lived in Schumacher and Toronto, Ont. Trained in several radio colleges,where he was a distinguished wireless student and a pioneering student in television. High honours in all academic work. Worked as a wireless operator for Ontario Forestry Branch. Considered a most promising engineer in his field when he joined in 1940. Wireless Officer lost when S.S. Maplecourt was sunk North Atlantic 6 Feb 1941. Survived by parents Mr. & Mrs. Charles Aho, Toronto, sister Helga, South Porcupine, brother Charles, Toronto.
