  • Son of John D. and Margaret A. Nickle, of Malone, ON. Embarked the SS Olympic at Halifax Nova Scotia (June 2, 1917) and disembarked at Liverpool England and proceeded to the Seaford Camp (June 9, 1917). Killed in action on the Passchendaele Front near Crest Farm.
