  • Born Apr 9, 1919 in Dougrayd Sask. Son of George Stringer & Margaret Milroy. Enl. 14 May 1941, served as a pilot and Squadron Leader. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1944. Took off with his crew No.55 Squadron on Jan 21, 1945 on an armed reconnaissance and failed to return. Presumed dead on operation.
