Interesting Facts

  • Son of Albert Joseph and Rose Amy Amiro, of Lower East Pubnico, Yarmouth Co., Nova Scotia. Enjoyed hunting, skating & softball. Prior to enlisting, he was working seasonally on a farm while he trained to be a carpenter. Died in an accident on Nov. 1, 1944. Survived by his siblings, Reuben and Frances.
