Also brother of Mrs. Gladys Jackson of Chatham ON and Mrs. Beatrice Ives of Islington ON. His uncle Capt. J.B. Sheff of Chatham was also serving in France. A native of Wallaceburg, Francis attended Our Lady of Help Separate School and the Wallaceburg high school.
