Canadian Fallen Scholarship

Throughout the history of Canada over 120,000 men and women died in the service of Canada during military conflicts. Their names are reflected in the eight Books of Remembrance displayed on Parliament Hill. These courageous individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice are buried in cemeteries across the globe including Canada, Europe, Russia, South Africa, North Africa, India, Burma, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong. Many have no marked grave, and many were lost at sea.

The goal of the NEW Canadian Fallen Scholarship initiative is to engage high school students to actively research the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for Canada and its future generation. Each name and personal history researched and preserved by students will be added to the CanadianFallen.ca website database, eternally honoring and commemorating their supreme sacrifice.

The Canadian Fallen Scholarship is an open and ongoing invitation to Canada’s youth to explore the past, remember the fallen today and echo “We will Remember Them” into the future.

Thank you for your interest in the Canadian Fallen Scholarship.
