  • Born at Friffin, Sask., where he farmed after attending local schools. His hobby was radio. Enl. Weyburn April, 1940. Trained at Weyburn, Camp Shilo and Toronto. Overseas in Dec. 1940. Killed during Operation Jubilee 19 Aug 1942. Surv. Mother, Mrs. Anna Clara Danforth, Griffin, Sask and brother, A. Frank (RCAF), and sisters. Mrs. George Boht, Mrs. Henry MacKenzie and Miss Theola Danforth.
