  • Born at Sutton West where he was farming when enlisted in July 1940. local schools at Sutton West. Keen lacrosse player. Trained at Camp Borden and Toronto. Overseas in Jan 41 to serve in GB and France. Reported MIA after the assault on Dieppe. The Vichy Government later reported he was buried at Cemetery Des Vertus, Hautot-sur-Mer, France. Surv. parents Mr. Mrs. Charles Frederick Anderson. Bros Harry in CAF, James at home. Sister Mrs. DorisE. Murray.
