  • Born at Old Harry, Magdalen Island, Que. Attended local schools. HMCS Spikenard, a Corvette on escort duty in the North Atlantic broke in half and sank within minutes and is believed to have been torpedoed. Unm., Surv. Mother, Mrs. Minnie dunn, Old Harry, Magdalen Island. His father predeceased him by three years.
