  • Born July 1915 in Leeds, UK to James Fieldhouse of Scotland and Eliza Compton of England. After serving for just under a year with the 55th Bttn of the RCAF, Sgt Fieldhouse was killed in a flying accident over a golf course at Rothbury Morpeth Northumberland while carrying out an authorized low-flying exercise.
