Member of Alpha Kappa Kappa and Alpha Omega alpha Fraternities. Medical Officer of RCAF No.11 Bomber-Reconnaissance Sqn. (anti-submarine) Dartmouth, NS. Killed while flying in Lockheed Hudson B14L- 1785 with four others on S/R op in search of Bristol Bolinbroke (9007), missing with four crew from Glace Bay, when plane hit a radio tower during poor visibilty on Sable Island, NS. Son of John and Annie Bell, Toronto, Maried to Leonie Gordon. Commemorative plaque at Shearwater Aviation Museum.
