Interesting Facts

  • Born in Ottawa where he lived with his grandparents. Attended St. Patrick's Separate School, then six years at Ottawa U. and two years at Ottawa Flying Club. Enl. June 1940 and trained at Toronto and Fort William. At time of death he was only one week away from receiving his wings. During his university years he was well known in sports as a footballer and tennis player. Unm., the oly son of SE and Mrs Dority of Bourget , Ontario by whom he was survived along with his Ottawa grandparents.
