• Accidentally Killed 14 November 1917 when flying in the vicinity of Corstorphine, close to the aerodrome. B.E.2e B4011 flown by 2nd Lieut E Hughes, 77 Squadron, collided with a Sopwith Camel B6262, flown by 2nd Lieut H M Armstrong 73 Training Sq.
