  • Son of Nathaniel and Annie Chalmers of West Toronto, ON. Brother of Nathaniel and Alexander Chalmers, who all fought in the same Battalion. His brother, Alex, was also killed in action on June 8, 1917. Commemorated on Page 65 of the First World War Book of Remembrance.
