Interesting Facts

  • Born in Middlesborough, England,where he attended school. Came to Canada at age of 16 to live with Mr. LA. Luddington of Kingston, NS. where he farmed. Rejected by the armed forces because of a physical disability he joined the Merchant Navy and sailed the high seas on SS Maplecourt. He was not known to have any relatives in Canada.
