  • Born in Toronto, only son of Mr.Mrs. John A. Freeland of Montreal. Educated at Montreal West High school and extra-mural Bank Course through Queen's University. Served in the Canadian Black Watch in Montreal and in Sep 1940 transferred to the RCAF. On 9 Apr 42 was reported "presumed dead." Unm. surv. Parents, then of Temiskaming, Que.
