  • Cook Officer Francis was born at Sydney Mines, NS. He was educated at Notre Dame School and Sydney Mines High School. Married Rachael Higham 22 July 1935. Children Roy and Frankie. Enl. Halifax 20 Oct 1939.He survived the collision that sank HMCS Fraser only to succumb in the later collision. Surv. Wife and children Sydney Mines. NS.
