Born at Bethune, Sask., lived Copeau, Sask. 1940 m. Geraldine Graham. Enl Regina 28 Oct 1940. First reported missing 22 Jul 42 only to show up walking at base a few hours later. Served in Middle East.Photo taken in Alexandria, Egypt a few days before he was reported killed. Surv wife and daughter Frances Jean, Somme, Sask. July 1942 was right at the start of first strong German assault on El Alemein in which the Desert Air Force gained air superiority over Rommel's Afrika Korps, which was to assure the British of victory in the Second Battle of El Alemein.
