Born at Tignish Shore, PEI.Attended local school. Hobby, Carpentery. Sailor on lake boats till enl. Merchant Navy, Montreal and then on high seas. Surv. parents, Mr. Mrs. Dominic Des Roches. Seven brothers and four sisters, Edna, Sylvina, Freda and Mary.
