Faits intéressants

  • Described by his superiors during training as "a rather cocksure type of Officer, who has good all round knowledge, but rather likes people to know." Known for his ability to draw observations on the spot or from memory. According to a letter written to the Estates branch of the RCAF, his mother Adrienne Loranger (nee Forest) raised the family on her own as a dressmaker because, as the letter stated, her husband was "no good." She did not receive the letter notifying her of her son's death until much later, and found out via newspaper. As his dependent, she was awarded a gratuity of $1,015 upon his death.

    Father: Camille Loranger
