Born at Bradford, England. Lived at 810 Lakeshore Drive, Penticton, BC., Attended public and high school there. Later studied mechanical engineering. Enl. Trail, BC 7 Dec 1940. He had served in an Imperial unit during the first World War. Surv. by his widow, the former Sarah Lenora Bell and three children, William, harry and Elsie.
