Huston was from London, Ontario. *2 CMR (later BC Regiment), like Strathcona's Horse a British Army unit raised in Canada, must be distinguished from Canadian unit 2nd Bn CMR raised along with 1st Bn (later RCD) CMR and which became known as "the CMR" after 1st Bn was renamed RCD. Thus the nominal roll should read "2nd CMR" in Huston's case.
