  • Attended local schools at Fredericton and later took a special course in Mechanics at High School. He was keenly-interest in aviation and the study of Diesel engines. Enl. Sep 1939.Trained at Fredericton and Woodstock. Overseas to England Dec 1939 where he trained till Op Husky. Surv. Parents. Mr.Mrs. James Eatman at Barker's Point, N.B. Bros Harry in USAF, Hubert Honourably Discharged from Armed Forces, sisters, Mrs. Harold Mitchell, Mrs. Franklin Francis, Misses Thelma and Blanche at home.
