Educated at Moose Jaw College and the Normal School in Regina, graduating with a first-class teacher's certificate at age nineteen, having won several prizes for general proficiency and a scholarship in English Literature. Went on to teach school at Willows, SK. M. Thelma M. Jenner Sep. 1937. Children, boy and girl. Enl. at Regina July 1940 and trained at Mossbank, Regina and Rivers. Overseas Feb 1942 and served in Great Britain. He was killed in an unspecified accident at Rosthwaite, near Keswick, Cumberland, England. Surv wife, children and brother, Thomas Herbert, all at Willows, SK. and sister, Mrs. Elsie Caldwell, at Varney, Ont.
