Trained at Toronto, St. Thomas, Victoriaville, Chatham and Pennfield Ridge. Qualified Sergeant-Observer. 20 yrs old when killed. Surv. Mother, Mrs. Thomas Donahue of McAdam, NB. No siblings. Was Bomb-aimer aboard Whiteley V bomber No.Z9512 of No.24 OTU of RAF Honeybourne, Worcestershire, flying as part of a mixed force of 630 aircraft for which 24 OTU (trainees) supplied 24 Whiteleys. RAF 92 OTU Group (trainees) lost 11 of its 105 aircraft altogether.
