  • Born at Chicago, Ill. USA. St. Rita High School and BSc. Loyola University. His ambition was to travel and write about his experiences. He had visited nearly every state in the USA and in 1937 had visited the Bahamas. Said to have been a man of lofty ideals, he enlisted in Toronto on Armistice Day, 11 Nov. 1940. He made three broadcasts on the BBC along with comrades. He served in 22 OTU Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. Unm. he was an only son and is surv. by parents, Mr. Mrs. Joseph Fedigan, 6633 S. Artesian St., Chicago, Ill. and by sisters Elizabeth and Mary.
