Interesting Facts

  • Born at Kinistino, Sask. Attended local high school. Enl. Saskatoon. Unm.  His Spitfire went down in the channel after a raid on Germany and Northern France. His body was recovered and he was buried at Tichester in Southern England. Surv. Parents at Kinistino and four brothers, all in RCAF, Wallace and Gordon in England, Stuart at Brandon, MB., and younger brother Haig, elsewhere. Possibly a record for family service.
