Killed with four crew-members while flying Lockheed Hudson 782 (14L-1785) in search of Bristol Bolingbroke (9007) with a crew of four missing from Station Glace Bay, when he hit a Radio Tower at 1140 hrs during poor visibility over Sable Island, NS.
