  • Born in Argylshire, Scotland. Attended The Herbert Symonds School and the Argyle Junior High School in Westmount, Montreal, PQ. He joined the CASF in Montreal on 19 Sep 1939. Enlisting at 15 years 10 months of age and killed at 17 years 3 months, Hamilton may have set a record for youngest Canadian fatal casualty of the Second World War. Surv. father in Australia and aunt, Bertha Ferguson of 2050 Claremont Ave., Montreal, pQ.
