  • B orn in Ottawa. Attended Ste. Theresa's Separate School, La Salle Academie and St. Patrick's College where he played hockey and football. Still a student when he enlisted in Sep. 1940. Trained at Brandon, Trenton, Fingal and Calgary. Overseas in May 1942. Killed on raid over Germany and buried in the new cemetery in Duisberg near Bonn, Germany. Surv. parents, Mr. Mrs. William Dubroy, brother Wilfred, sisters Mrs. OJ Baxter and Mrs. Louis Clark, all of Ottawa and brother Francis RCNVR. Brother F/L Thomas, RCAF, KIA 29 Jan. 1944.
