  • Born at Stirling, Alta, attended schools at Carmangay, Alta, where he was an honours student. His hobby was Mechanics. Worked in "aircraft work" at Montreal and Dartmouth. Enl. April 1942. Trained at Edmonton, Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Macleod. Commissioned 19 March 1943, two days after graduating. Overseas April 1943. Surv. parents Mr. Mrs. William Daymon. Pte RM Daymon serving in France.,Sgt. EC. Daymon, Ottawa, Sisters Eileen and Frances, the latter a nurse in training at Holy Cross Hospital, Calgary.
