  • Born in Denmark on September 29, 1918. Son of Axel and Agnes Ingwersen of Port Perry, ON. Brother of Mary Hill, William Ingwersen, Ulf Ingwersen and Johannes Ingwersen. Worked as a Wood Contractor prior to his service. Enlisted June 19, 1940 at North Bay, ON. Member of the 22nd Armd. Regt. Died of wounds received in action on Aptil 25, 1945, when he was hit by a shell fragment after a round went off inside his tank.
